The Role

To support the Restaurant & Bar Manager with the day-to-day efficient operation of Tempo Restaurant and the WXYZ Bar, as well as support with Conference & Events Operations as and when required, with emphasis on quality, presentation and service.  Promotes the desired work culture around the core values of the business.

The Person

  • Previous experience within a similar role.

  • Able to work a variety of shift patterns including breakfasts, evenings and weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities will be to:

  • To provide excellent customer service in line with brand standards to all guests in Tempo Restaurant, WXYZ Bar and Room Service.
  • To ensure Bar and Restaurant is sufficiently stocked with glassware and products for forthcoming shift.
  • To be fully aware of the Hotel’s products and services.
  • Comply fully with all regulations relating to Health & Safety, Food Handling, Fire Procedures and COSHH
  • Know the menu for your service including any daily specials, to be knowledgeable of main ingredients and allergens dishes contain.
  • To follow correct procedures in relation allergen orders.
  • To follow correct procedures in relation to money handling.
  • Ensure your service area is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Ensure all Bar areas, kitchens and back of house areas are left clean, tidy and in a safe condition when finishing shift.
  • Support with Conference and Events Service, as required by the business.
