What attracted you to the role at the eastside rooms? 

Fantastic opportunity to be involved in the largest hotel/conference venue opening in the city and a venue that I believe will have a huge impact on Birmingham at a very exciting time for the city.

What is your favourite part of your role?

It’s a cliché but every day is different and brings different challenges which keeps it interesting but for me my favourite part is being with the guests and spending time with the team.

How did you get into the hospitality industry? 

By chance really, I certainly wasn’t the academic type and realised after working in a mixture of different departments in a hotel from the age of 16 that firstly I enjoyed it and secondly I knew nothing else and it was time to decide what I wanted to do with my life!!  😊

If you had your own talk show, who would be your first three guests?

Jurgen Klopp, Micky Flanagan and Noel Gallagher.

If you can instantly become an expert in something what would it be? 

Flying planes.

If you could eliminate one thing from your daily routine what would it be and why? 

Emails!!!
